Highlights: This tour features an educational journey, from Hanoi - the historic and colonial Capital to Ha Long Bay, famed for it’s beautiful landscapes (as seen in the film “Indochine”, starring Catherine Deneuve and Vincent Perez). You will have the chance to journey from the peaceful, quiet beautifully preserved streets of old Hoi An and Hue to the busy avenues of Saigon. You will also have the chance to visit the very foundations of the revolution and some of the major historic sites of the Viet Nam War such as the Cu Chi Tunnels. Highlights of Vietnam - Cambodia 14 days
Day 1: Hanoi arrival
Upon arriving in Hanoi, our tour guide of Agenda Tour Vietnam will personally meet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is time at leisure.

Day 2: Hanoi City tour
Today features the most highlights of Hanoi, including Ho Chi Minh Complex, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, His House-on-Stilts, One Pillar pagoda…
Enjoy an hour Cyclo Tour through the Old Quarter of Hanoi, heading to Ho Chi Minh complex, the old quarter is also known as the 36 streets and guilds, this bustling area of narrow streets is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. Originally each of the street’s names was related to the products being sold there.
After that we will visit the Temple of Literature - a temple to Confucius, this is also known as Vietnam’s first University dating back to 1070.
Lunch today features The best known authentic Hanoi cuisines prepared by the awarded Hanoi cooking artist at a home restaurant.
After having lunch, enjoy a walking tour through the old quarter to explore the old town on foot with numerous shops and photo opportunities. Also visit Ngoc Son Temple, Hoan Kiem Lake.
At the end of the day, you can enjoy the famous traditional water puppetry show in Thang Long Theatre where you will have a chance to experience an overview of daily life in Vietnam's rural areas in dramatic form. Back to the hotel and overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi - Ha Long
After breakfast, we will depart for Halong Bay – designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and boasting scenery made famous by the French film “Indochine”. Wondrous Halong Bay is truly one of Vietnam’s most impressive scenic sights.
Being picked up from Hanoi at 7:45 – 8:30 by SHUTTLE VAN; depart Hanoi to Ha Long Bay by road through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta.
12.15 pm: Arrive in Ha Long city, board our traditional wooden junk boat, Huong Hai Junk, for an overnight journey. Sip on a refreshing welcome drink upon check in before you begin your cruise through the bay. Feast on a delicious lunch as you cruise among hundreds of islets (Dinh Huong islet, Ga Choi – Fighting Cock islet, Dog islet, Finger islet, etc.) to discover unspoilt pockets of Halong Bay and visit Sung Sot cave, one of the most imposing grottos of the Bay. Swim at Soi Sim beach or Titov beach or a short trek to the top of Titov Mountain for a magnificent panorama scenery.
7.30pm: Enjoy your dinner with fresh seafood on board.
9.00pm: Squid fishing or relax and chatting with your partner, friends, family.
Overnight on Ha Long Bay
For those who book kayaking option: After visiting Amazing cave, you can go kayaking from Soi Sim beach to Luon Cave to enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the bay (or from Bo Nau cave, to Soi Sim beach to TiTov)

Day 4: Ha Long - Hanoi
7.00am: Enjoy the early morning tea, coffee.
8.00am: Visit Luon cave on small bamboo boat paddle by out crew staff and enjoy the quiet atmosphere enclosed by high islets and mountains. Be back to our Huong Hai Junk. Sail past rock formations such as Man’s Head islet, Tortoise islet, Butterfly cave, Lion islet, Bai Tho mountain, enjoy the tranquil scenery as the boat meanders its way through the bay on the way back to Ha Long city, etc. Arrange your luggage and do the check out onboard at around 9.00 am. Enjoy a wholesome brunch as your boat weaves through strange-shaped limestone rock formations.
11.45am: Arrive back at Ha Long city for disembarkation where your driver waits to take you back to Hanoi. Transfer back to Hanoi by SHUTTLE VAN. Arrive your hotel in Hanoi at around 4.00pm, check in the hotel and relax.

Day 5: Hanoi - Hue
Free time until transfer to the airport for a flight to Hue at noon time. Hue is an ancient romantic city, famous for its magnificent architecture including the Citadel, palaces, pagodas and royal tombs built under the 13 emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty against a poetic background of greenery on the banks of the Perfume River. Hue was recognized as the World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 1993. Hue has represented the cultural and spiritual centre of Vietnam since ancient times. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and transferred to hotel in Hue. The rest of day is free time at leisure.

Day 6: Hue City tour
This morning, we will board a dragon boat to cruise down the Perfume River to Thien Mu pagoda. Thien Mu pagoda is one of the best-loved pagodas in Vietnam and is considered by many to be the unofficial symbol of Hue. It is an active Buddhist monastery with its origins dating back to 1601.
We then visit another pagoda for an elaborately prepared vegetarian lunch, which will be served by the nuns of the pagoda. This gives a fascinating insight into the life of religious people in the area. After lunch we visit the tomb and monument of King Tu Duc which is located in a very beautiful area. This is an opportunity to learn more about Nguyen Kings and to enjoy the spectacular landscape.
We return to the hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 7: Hue - Danang - Hoi An
This morning we drive over the mighty Hai Van Pass and take in the spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean and famous Long Co fishing village. On the way we visit the Cham Museum where the remaining evidence of the fascinating Champa civilization can be viewed. We then visit the Marble Mountain, which is a maze of caves and temples, hidden with five sacred marble rocks.

Day 8: Hoi An half day tour
Located on the north bank of the Thu Bon river, the historic town of Hoi An was once one of South East Asia's major international ports and today it still retains that special old-world feel. Enjoy a walking tour through the Old Quarters to see the town's landmarks of Japanese Covered Bridge, ancient Assembly Hall, Phuc Kien Temple. Free at leisure in the afternoon.

Day 9: Hoi An - Danang - Saigon
Morning you are free at leisure. Afternoon being transferred to the airport for boarding your flight to Saigon. On arrival met Asia Top Travel driver and guide to be transferred to the downtown hotel for check in. The rest of the day you are free at leisure.

Day 10: Saigon city tour - Cu Chi - Saigon
A full day tour to Cu Chi, located about 70 km from Saigon, where you will visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, the former stronghold of the Viet Cong with a network of tunnels three levels deep stretching over 200 km. Then return to Saigon for half day city tour includes the Notre Dame Cathedral, Post Office, and the Museum of History to see some interesting displays and photographs following the path of the revolution. Then visit the Reunification Palace for a glimpse into the lifestyle of the democratic regime of former South Vietnam.

Day 11: Saigon - Vinh Long - Saigon
Today, escaping from the high-rise hotels, shopping malls and chic restaurants of Ho Chi Minh City, we drive to My Tho with paddy fields, thick orchards and canals. Upon arriving, we board a private boat start exploring the vast Mekong River. We will pass by the floating market, Fish Quay along the water way to Turtle Island, a beautiful island with many orchards. Here we can enjoy a variety of fresh tropical fruits while listening to traditional South Vietnamese folk songs performed by local artists. We then visit a coconut candy workshop before taking a short horse cart ride to visit a Bee Farm where we try some honey tea, tastes local confectionery. After that, we will have a short rowing sampan boat ride along the water coconut shady canal to our main boat then go to Phoenix Island that was the lonely bastion of Coconut Monk. Here we enjoy lunch of local cuisines with delicious Elephant Ear fish, before go back to the harbor. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh by late afternoon.

Day 12: Saigon Sieam Reap
Free time at leisure until time to meet for transfer to the airport for your flight to Sieam Reap
Upon arrival at Siem Reap airport, the guide will meet and transfer you to hotel. Visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century). See the South Gate (with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk), Bayon Temple (the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
In the afternoon, visit the most famous of all the temples on the Angkor plain: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat's five towers symbolize Meru's five peaks, the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat symbolizes the ocean beyond Sunset from Phnom Bakheng, one of two hills dominating the plain of Angkor, from where you will have a spectacular view of the Western Baray and Angkor Wat.

Day 13: Siem Reap - Angkor Tours
In the morning, you will continue your temple visits. Included are Prasat Kravan (with its unique brick sculptures), Srah Srang ("The Royal Boths" was once used for ritual bathing), Banteay Kdei (surrounded by four concentric walls), Eastern Mebon (guarded at its corner by stone figures of harnessed elephants, some of which are still in a reasonable state of preservation) and the "Mountain Temple" of Pre Rup.
In the afternoon, transfer to the archaeological site and continue to the temple tour. Visit Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in the area. Ta Prohm has been left relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery, then, visit Takeo, Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda temples.

Breakfast is at your hotel. You are free at leisure until being transfered to Siemriep airport for boarding your onward flight. End of service
